Weather Advisory
At Fluker's, we monitor the weather to ensure your insect order will arrive in good condition. Be sure to check the chart below to see if there is a hold for weather advisory for your state.
Fluker's Shipping Policies
OVERNIGHT SHIPPING:
The same day shipping option is only available if you place your order before 3:00 PM CT Monday - Thursday (excluding holidays). Live insect orders placed after 3:00 pm CT Thursday will be shipped on the following Monday (excluding holidays).
2nd DAY SHIPPING: (Not available at this time)
Same day shipping provided on all 2nd Day orders placed before 3:00 pm CT Monday - Wednesday (excluding holidays). Live insect orders placed after 3:00 pm CT Wednesday will be shipped on the following Monday (excluding holidays).
FedEx Home Delivery SHIPPING:
Same day shipping provided on all
FedEx Home Delivery orders placed before 3:00 pm CT Monday - Wednesday (excluding holidays). Live insect orders placed after 3:00 pm CT Wednesday will be shipped on the following Monday (excluding holidays).
All dry products (non-living items) will in be sent via a shipping carrier of our choice at the price shown in the online store. There will be no extra shipping or handling charges added for these items. Most feeder insect diets will ship overnight with your live insects, however this is at our discretion and there may be exceptions. If you would like your dry products order to be shipped overnight please call (800) 735-8537 to place your order by phone (in this case, overnight shipping rates will be applied).
Winter Shipping Policy
The odds of your insects arriving alive drops dramatically when the temperature at the regional shipping FedEx hub in either (
Memphis,
TN) or your location, drops to 15 degrees or below. Most cricket farms stop shipping altogether when the temperatures are this cold. We know that you rely on your feeder insects each week so rather than not ship at all when the weather reaches these low extreme temperatures we are going to offer the following options.
Winter Option #1-(IGO-Insect Guarantee Only) Your order will go out as scheduled regardless of weather. Should you choose this option and your insects arrive DOA, we will share in the cost of reshipment by replacing the insects free of charge. However, you will be responsible for freight charges.
Winter Option #2-(HFW-Hold For Weather) If your local night-time temperature is 15 degrees (F) or below according to weather.com'sforecast, we will hold your order to ship at our discretion until the weather warms to acceptable levels. With this option, our normal guarantee will apply. If the weather doesn't break for that week, the order will not ship. It will be cancelled and your credit card refunded.
