More recent work to establish reference ranges for the complete blood counts, plasma biochemistries, and blood gases for the Mali uromastyx,

and the plasma biochemistries for Chinese water dragons, have also been completed. The publication of this data will improve veterinarians' abilities to interpret the results of the blood profiles, and ensure more rapid diagnosis.
