Our crickets are indigenous to Pakistan, but can now be found in homes and pet shops across the country.
An order of 1000 crickets requires at least a 10-gallon aquarium. Suitable substrates for your cricket's home include egg crates and orchid bark. Crickets enjoy and thrive in dark places. The optimum temperature range for crickets should be 70-75°F during the day and at night. This is necessary for the cricket’s metabolism and immune system to function properly.
Your cricket’s container will need to be cleaned out between shipments or once a week.
Crickets are omnivores; they will eat both plants and meat. You can feed them Fluker’s Cricket Chow to provide protein, and other nutrients. We also offer a calcium fortified food to gut-load the crickets before being fed to your reptile.
For a water source, several options are available, including Fluker’s Cricket Quencher in original and high calcium. We also offer a small watering dish. For smaller crickets, please place a paper towel or gravel inside the dish, with enough water to cover the material, to prevent drowning.
To save on time, Fluker’s offers our own Orange cube, a food and water combination that takes all the hassle out of feeding your crickets.
